I mentioned in a previous story that Amy had forgotten our anniversary last month. While visiting family in Illinois last week she called to say she had gotten me the best present ever. She came back with this:

It's Spring. I know cause I turned the sprinklers on. Hyna checked the nozzles. Also, Amy washed the car. And Hayden had some spaghetti and peas.

Amy and I ran a 5K on Saturday. I've been running the past few months trying to get ready. It was 28 degrees when we got to the race. And the first 1.5 miles were straight up a mountain. I had been running around a lake that was flat. I suppose I should look for some hills to practice on. My time was 37:51. Amy's was 29:40. She won second place for her division! We didn't get to stay for the award though cause I had a soccer game right after.

aaaaaaahhhhhh! I hate that feeling. Each time I see police lights behind me I get a sinking feeling in my stomach....like an airplane in turbulence. Then I get that frantic, "Oh shit do I have anything illegal in my car?" feeling...which is strange because it's been quite some time since I've had anything illegal in my car.

We went to the UFC Fight Night last weekend! It was pretty rad. Amy got a picture with a bunch of the fighters.
