I ordered some flowers on March 17 to be delivered on March 19 for my wife. They didn't turn up until March 20, and when they did they were slightly wilted. That wouldn't usually be an issue, but it was for our anniversary...so the date is somewhat key. I get a much better reaction when things happen on the anniversary date, and not a day later.

We just realized that Hayden is calling all of the dogs Bob. Our babysitter’s dog is named Bob. Hayden won’t be convinced otherwise either. You can sit and stare at each other repeating…Ruca, Hyna, or Ramona, and she’ll stare back and say Bob. She also likes to take her food from her high chair, stare at you and say Bob, and then drop it over the side. The dogs surely know when feedings start.

My last day at Syncroness is Friday. I'll be taking a similar position at a company in Boulder, CO. Eventually we plan to move to Boulder so I won't have a long commute. I'm excited about the new company. They have offices in Phoenix and Northern California as well. Boulder seems like a much better fit for us. They have good food, lots of things to do, and interesting people.

We went to see Sara Bareilles last night at the Ogden Theatre downtown. She was great. She was opening for James Blunt, but we didn't stay for that. Marilyn Manson is playing tonight right down the street but I couldn't talk Amy into going to see him. She said she's already seen him once. That show was so loud she made us go to the very back of the State Palace Theatre.

But if you haven't heard Sara Bareilles you should check her out. She has a song on a TV commercial too.
