We went to see Dinosaur Jr. at the Boulder Theater last night. They were good but it was way too loud. I forgot to bring earplugs. A young Australian band, Violent Soho, opened for them along with Lou Barlow and the Missingmen. I thought Violent Soho put on the best show, but it was neat to hear Dinosaur Jr. live after all this time. J. Mascis had four full Marshall stacks pointed directly at him...I'm pretty sure he must be deaf at this point too.

I had to fly out to our Laguna Niguel office last week to install a new server. I went a few days early and went kayaking/camping with Jan and the new guys from the office. It was awesome. We kayaked 7 miles south of Two Harbors and camped along the coast for two nights. The rest of the pictures are here.

We had our crawfish boil this weekend! The weather turned out nice...we moved it two weeks forward because of snow earlier this month. For a bunch of northerners these guys could eat a lot of crawfish. Usually we have a bit left over, but they ate all 60 pounds this time.

Sunday morning the Easter Bunny came. Hayden thought she saw him running away out of her window. Then she ate candy all day and randomly yelled, "Happy Easter!".

Hyna had a seizure the other day. She's been really aggressive towards the other dogs and not acting normal. We took her to the vet after the seizure and they sent us home with phenobarbital and valium. They didn't seem to help so we took her to the emergency vet the next day. They think she has epilepsy or a brain tumor. She'll go see a neurologist next week. She takes phenobarbital twice daily now that calms her down. The vet said it makes her "special"...I think she meant in a retarded way. She's not retarded though...just a little slow. Not much her normal self. After the seizure the right side of her face doesn't have much movement.
